Abstract     Tributaries of the superior wall of the coronary sinus (CS) are the veins of the left atrium, of the anterior and the posterior walls of CS and the veins formed by joining of sinusoids that supply the AV node and bundle of Hiss. There was only tributary of the superior wall of CS-v obliqua atrii sinistri (60%), 3 tributaries (17%), 2 (12%), 4 (5%) or 6 (2%). Anatomical research of these veins is important because they may become the way for spreading of pathological process, but they take part in myocardial vascularisation in the case of occlusion of coronary arteries and they thus diminish the danger for heart block.
