Abstract		In 81 patients sperm count, motility, zinc levels and acid phosphatase activity of the seminal fluid were correlated with FSH, LH, prolactin and testosterone concentrations in serum. All the hormones were determined by RIA methods. The motility of spermatozoa was significantly negatively correlated with zinc levels (r=0.24, p<0,05), acid phosphatase activity (r=-0.34, p<0.01) and age (r=-0.26, p<0.05). A negative correlation was found between sperm count and FISH levels (r=0.26, p<0.05), whereas there was a positive correlation between sperm count and motility (r=+0.65, p<0.01), and FSH and LH (r=+0.48, p<0.01).
