Abstract     Izhodišča: Management človeških virov postaja pomemben dejavnik uspešnosti zdravstvenih organizacij, saj predstavlja sistemsko osnovo za razvoj kakovostnih kadrov. To velja še posebej za zdravstveno nego, ki predstavlja največje področje dejavnosti zdravstvenih zavodov in zaposluje največjo poklicno skupino zdravstvenih delavcev. Namen: z raziskavo smo želeli proučiti uporabo teorije managementa človeških virov v klinični praksi zdravstvene nege v izbrani bolnišnici. Raziskava izhaja iz teorije managementa človeških virov in njene uporabe v praksi sodobnih organizacij kot sistemska osnova za razvoj kadrov v zdravstveni negi. Ugotoviti smo želeli, kako se uporaba teorije odraža v klinični praksi bolnišnične zdravstvene nege in kako učinkovito jo uporablja operativni management zdravstvene nege. Metode: raziskava je temeljila na kvantitativni raziskavi, v kateri so sodelovali strokovni vodje zdravstvene nege organizacijskih enot, ki delujejo na ključnih delovnih mestih, saj so odgovorni za proces zdravstvene nege pacientov in za zaposlene v organizacijski enoti. Za potrebe raziskave smo pripravi anketni vprašalnik s stališči in trditvami s področja človeških virovin s človeškimi viri povezanimi organizacijskimi in vodstvenimi področji. Anketni vprašalnik je bil razdeljen vsem strokovnim vodjem, kar predstavlja v izbrani bolnišnici 42 zaposlenih. Rezultati in diskusija: Z raziskavo smo ugotovili, da je bila priprava na uvajanje managementa človeških virov v klinično prakso zdravstvene nege dobra, da smo uvedli potrebne organizacijske spremembe in zagotovili osnovna znanja managementa človeških virov strokovnim vodjem zdravstvene nege. Tudi proces managementa človeških virov je dobro pripravljen, saj omogoča pridobivanje in razvoj zaposlenih, ki dosegajo dobre rezultate v klinični praksi bolnišnične zdravstvene nege. Opravljena raziskava predstavlja tudi dobro osnovo za razširitev raziskave managementa človeških virov na področju zaposlenih v klinični praksi zdravstvene nege in sodelavcev v zdravstvenih timih.Background: Human resources management is becoming an important success factor of medical institutions as it represents a systemic basis for the development of quality human resources. It is especially important for nursing care which represents the largest field of activity of medical institutions and employs the biggest employment group of medical staff. Purpose: we wanted to study the applicability of human resources management theory in clinical practice of nursing care in a chosen hospital. The study is based on human resources management theory and its use in practice of modern organizations as a systemic basis for developing human resources in nursing care. We wished to determine how the theory functions in clinical practice of hospital nursing care and how effectively it is used by the operative management of nursing care. Methods: the study was based on a quantitative study which included professional heads of nursing care of organization units who are in key positions as they are responsible for the process of patients' nursing care and staff of the organization unit. We have prepared a questionnaire for the purpose of the study with standpoints and statements from the field of human resources and organization and management fields related to human resources. The questionnaire is handed out to all professional heads, presenting 42 employees in a chosen hospital presents. Results and discussion: With this study, we have established that the preparation for the introduction of human resources management into clinical practice of nursing care is good; we have introduced the necessary organization changes and provided basic knowledge in human resources management to professional heads of nursing care. The process of human resources management is well prepared as it enables acquisition and progress of employees who have reached good results in clinical practice of hospital nursing care. The study presents a good foundation for extending the study of human resources management in the field of staff working in clinical practice of nursing care and co-workers in medical teams.
