Abstract		A multielectrode system for selective extraneural stimulation of nerve fibres was developed. An operational potential window between hydrogen and oxygen evolution for one of the fourteen platinum stimulating electrodes in a protein containing solution was delineated using electrochemical technique of cyclic voltammetry. The same technique was used for determining electrochemical stability and galvanometric behavior of each electrode of the system.
