Abstract		The aim of the study was to analyze the results of folliculometry in order to find a possible connection between the dynamics of follicular growth and the outcome of the insemination procedure. The characteristics of follicular growth were analyzed in 101 intrauterine insemination cycles stimulated by clomiphene citrate. Folliculometry of individual follicles was analyzed from the second day of the menstrual period. The curves of follicular growth are arranged on the curves with rapid daily increase (dR more th. 2.3 mm) and on the curves conceivers after IuI, fast growing follicles were observed in 15 (83.3 percent), and only in 15 (18.1 percent) nonconceivers.
