Abstract     Urological problems constitute a significant percentage of all clinical problems in paediatrics. Incorporation of urodynamic examinations is important in achieving optimal results in many of these entities. The refinement of urodynamic techniques, coupled with the rapid advancement in available electronic equipment which has occured in the last 20 years, has allowed the widespread application of these objective investigations to assist in the clarification of urinary tract symptoms. This article reviews the principles and clinical application of urodynamic investigations in children.
