Abstract     In four years (from January 1991 till December 1994) 188 hospitalized patients were reanimated by anesthesiologists in University Medical Center (UMC) Ljubljana 62.3 pct. of the patients survived CPR. More than half of reanimated patients were surgical. Respiratory arrest (incl. pulmonary embolism) was the most common cause for CPR.
