Abstract		The author lists and describes different measures which enable us to obtain the greatest possible number of suitable organs and tissues from cadaver donors. At the same time, the author points out the need of the financial support from the relevant authorities, and the establishment of a national institution; both these prerequisites cannot be replaced by individual enthusiasm.
