Abstract     The purpose of this research project is to compare the cardiovascular and respiratory parameters at 20 patients classified in ASA 1 or 2 devided in two groups of 10 patients. They have all been operated on Surgical department of our hospital because of cholecystolithiasis - in laparoscopic technique. The first group recieved total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA)-with continous infusion of propofol (Diprivan) and stimultaneus inhalation of O2 and N2O. In the second group induction was made with thiopenton (Nesdonal) and maintained with inhalation of mixture of O2, N2O and Isoflurane. We used alfentanil as the analgesie at both groups. We monitorated and measured cardiovascular parameters (pulse, blood pressure) and respiratory parameters (tidal volume - TV, minute volume - V, airway pressure, end tidal expiratory pressure of CO2 - ETCO2 and oxygen saturation - SaO2). In the first group we noticed the fall of blood pressure, heart beat and ETCO2 after induction. Later this values became normal only ETCO2 rose-but this is always present at laparoscopic procedures because of the pneumoperitoneum. In the second group we noticed the rise of blood pressure, heart beat and ETCO2 after induction, and the values remained higher than in the first group untill the end of anaesthesia. The consumption of analgesics was biger in the second group. The velocity of awakening was more quick and more pleasant in the first group.
