Abstract		Background. Cubitus varus deformity is the most common complication connected with the treatment of supracondylar fractures in children. Methods. A variety of supracondylar osteotomies have been proposed, yet most of them involve immobilisation of the elbow in a plaster cast for 3 to 5 weeks, which implies a considerable delay in starting physical therapy. Conclusions. The authors present technique of rigid internal fixation with two plate which requires no postoperative immobilisation in a plaster cast, and allows mobilisation of the elbow to start immediately after the operation.
Summary		Izhodišča. Najbolj pogost zaplet zdravljenja suprakondilarnega zloma nadlahtnice pri otrocih je varusna deformacija komolca. Metode. Opisane so številne metode suprakondilarne osteotomije za korekcijo varusne deformacije komolca, značilnost večine pa je, da je po operaciji in interni učvrstitvi potrebna še zaščita osteotomije z mavcem za tri do štiri tedne in s tem odlog fizikalne terapije. Zaključki. Predstavljena metoda rigidne interne učvrstitve osteotomije z dvema ploščama ne zahteva dodatne mavčeve zaščite in omogoča fizikalno terapijo neposredno po operaciji.
