Abstract		Emotions are processes which take place in significant biological, psychological and social situations and are stereotypically patterned in bodily activity. A part of these bodily activities is voice. Voice has its special place since it is the material of spoken language and communication code by itself. Vocal expressions of emotions have their characteristic patterns of pitch, intensity, colour, rate, pauses and variations of all these, in objective physical parameters and not only in subjective meanings.
