Abstract     Morphologic and motor self-image are two of highly important factors that define the way and extent of incorporating into everyday life and at the same time significantly influence the forming of the entire bio-psycho- social image of a child. Childhood and youth are indeed crucial also in the forming of the adult personality image. One part of it can be formed only by some means used in sport, i.e. by specific motor activities. If these means are not exploited enough they can not be substituted later on. Their influence decreases more and more with growth and maturation. Sport activity has an influence on man and because of stochastic connection between his physical and mental nature also forms his biologic, psychic and social part of personality. The influence on some changes in morphologic and motor self-image can be very effective in childhood, not to ignore the rest of personality and functional potentials. It should not be overlooked that the modern industrial society limits man's physical activity, as in performing numerous professions even genetically planned forms of man's movement are neglected or even eliminated. Therefore the effects of sport activity are of extreme importance.
