Abstract     Teoretična izhodišča: Z hitrim razvojem novih tehnologij in materialov v zobozdravstvu postaja zmeraj bolj pomemben aspekt dela- medpoklicno sodelovanje. Medsebojno aktivno sodelovanje pomeni povezovanje zaupanja in zavedanja, da lahko vsak na svojem poklicnem področju naredi največ, kar je v njegovi moči za bolnika in sodelavca. Timska uglašenost vodi k doseganju željenih rezultatov oskrbe bolnika. Koncept med poklicnega izobraževanja daje pomembno vrednost okrepljenemu sodobnemu sodelovanju in medosebni komunikaciji, ki je osnova timskemu delu in kot takšno garancija za vrhunsko oskrbo bolnika. Metode: Sistematični pregled literature je vključeval iskanje člankov v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, Medline, CINAHL, ScienceDirect. V raziskavo so bili vključeni znanstveni članki in prispevki v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku brez časovne omejitve. Analizirali smo 6 člankov, uporabili smo pripovedno analizo kvantitativnih in kvalitativnih podatkov. Rezultati: Pri analizi virov sta bili identificirani dve vsebinski temi, ki opredeljujeta proučevane obstoječe modele in sicer med poklicna komunikacija in med poklicno izobraževanje. Medpoklicnost tako narekuje spremembo veljavne paradigme - nov sistem vrednot in ravnanj predvsem pa drug pristop dela, saj se danes soočamo z različnimi zdravstvenimi težavami ljubi, ki zahtevajo usklajeno delovanje različnih strokovnjakov. Razprava: V zobozdravstvu delujemo po načelih medpoklicnega sodelovanja, ki bi ga bilo potrebno nadgraditi z dobrim timskim delom. Opaziti je slabo komunikacijo med zobozdravniki in laboratorijskimi izvajalci, kar se odraža v kakovosti protetične oskrbe pacientov. Smiselna je vzpostavitev medpoklicnega izobraževanja, ki bi postavilo temelje dobri komunikaciji in boljšemu medpoklicnemu sodelovanju na področju zobozdravstva.Introduction: With the rapid development of new technologies and materials in dentistry, a new increasingly important aspect of work is becoming apparent - inter-professional cooperation. Mutually active co-operation suggests a connection between confidence and the awareness that professionals in their respective fields should do everything in their power to benefit a patient or an associate. Only a team that is in tune can achieve the desired results in patient care. The concept of inter-professional education places great importance on enhanced modern collaboration and interpersonal communication, which is the basis for great teamwork and as such guarantees quality patient care. Methods: A systematic overview of literature consisted of searching for relevant articles in the PubMed, Medline, CINAHL and ScienceDirect databases. All articles in the Slovenian and English languages were considered for the study, regardless of the period in which they were published. Result: During the analysis of the relevant sources, two categories were identified that define the examination of existing models, namely inter-professional cooperation and inter-professional education. In this way, inter-professionality dictates the change of the valid paradigm - a new system of values and actions is being established, leading to a different approach to work, which is needed because today, patients are often experiencing various health problems that require a coordinated effort of different experts. Discussion: In dentistry, work is carried out according to the principles of inter-professional cooperation, which should be upgraded by good teamwork. However, poor communication between dentists and dental laboratory professionals can be observed and is reflected in the quality of dental prosthetic treatment of patients. Because of this, it would be beneficial to establish inter-professional education, which would serve as a foundation for good communication and better inter-professional cooperation in the field of dentistry.
