Abstract     Delo v strežbi je dinamično, pretežno stoječe delo, ki je pogojeno s skrajnimi gibi z bremeni, težjimi od 8 kg, zato je pojavnost mišično-skeletnih obolenj pri tej populaciji relativno visoka. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti pojavnost mišično-skeletnih težav ter oceniti gibalno učinkovitost pri zaposlenih v strežbi. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 19 odraslih moških, ki že vsaj 6 mesecev opravljajo delovno mesto natakarja. S pomočjo vprašalnika smo pridobili informaciji o akutnem in kroničnem pojavu bolečin po celotnem telesu; podatke o gibalni učinkovitosti merjencev smo pridobili s testno baterijo FMS. Rezultati kažejo, da zaposleni v strežbi občutijo največ bolečin v zgornjem in spodnjem predelu hrbta in kolen. Rezultati gibalni učinkovitosti so pokazali podpovprečne vrednosti (13,97 +- 1,99 ocene), kar lahko nakazuje na večjo možnost nastanka poškodb in pojavljanja bolečin. Dodatno smo ugotovili tudi bilateralne razlike pri testu prestopanje ovir ter negativne povezave med izbranimi testi FMS in bolečinami v zgornjem delu telesa ter hrbta. Rezultati naše raziskave so lahko v pomoč vsem, ki se ukvarjajo z organizacijo in izvajanjem vadbe na stoječem delovnem mestu, kot tudi vsakemu posamezniku, ki tako delo opravlja.Working in a restaurant service is mostly a standing and dynamic type of work with carrying loads during worktime that can weight 8 kg or more. By repeating these tasks, musculoskeletal disorders of entire body could occur. The aim of this study was to examine the incidence of musculoskeletal pain and movement efficiency in a sample of restaurant workers. Nineteen men adults were included into the study, with at least 6 months of work experience. Nordic musculoskeletal disorder questionnaire was used to assess pain and discomfort and FMS (functional movement screen) to assess movement efficiency. Majority of musculoskeletal pain and discomfort was reported in the upper and lower back and knee, however this did not result in higher work absence. Obtained FMS results showed below average movement efficiency (average grade of 13,97 +- 1,99). Poor movement efficiency and quality could lead to musculoskeletal pain and discomfort. Additionally, significant bilateral differences in hurdle step test were obtained alongside with negative correlation between upper body segments pain and selected FMS tests. Our data could be provided as a valuable addition in development of training programme to improve movement efficiency and quality of restaurant workers.
