| Abstract | External fields and restricted geometries break the continuous symmetry of helical phases, which is reflected in dynamic and static properties of these phases. it is shown that a transverse magnetic field induces a'gap in the spectrum of phase excitations and significantly influences the optical properties of helical phases. | |
