Abstract		Posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus in the setting of intraventricular hemorrhage is a frequent problem especially in preterm infants and remains a cause of severe neurological impairment. Many techniques have been used to treat intraventricular hemorrhage, ranging from fibrinolytic agents to drainages and endoscopic surgery. The technique of neuroendoscopic lavage allows a partial or complete hematoma evacuation in addition to hematocephalus washing. We describe the case of a neonate patient with hematocephalus that was treated with neuroendoscopic ventricular lavage.
