Zaključki: Za slovenski prevod vprašalnika ABILHAND-Kids je pred uporabo v klinični praksi in raziskovalnem delu potrebno oceniti psihometrične lastnosti v raziskavi z večjim številom otrok s CP.Background: We wanted to translate the ABILHAND-Kids questionnaire into Slovenian and then use it with a small group of children with cerebral palsy (CP) to evaluate the children%s ability to perform various activities. We also wanted to check whether the results correspond to the assigned level of gross motor function (GMFCS) and manual ability (MACS). Methods: We included parents of children with CP who were included in the rehabilitation program at the University Rehabilitation Institute in Ljubljana. They filled-in the ABILHAND-Kids questionnaire based on usual performance of their child. Results: We included parents of 10 children. Results of ABILHAND-Kids questionnaire were in agreement with the levels of MACS in GMFCS. Conclusions: Before we start using the Slovenian translation of the ABILHAND-Kids questionnaire in clinical practice and research, we have to evaluate its psychometric features in a larger study on children with CP.
