Abstract		Several diagnostic dilemmas arise in the treatment of patient with chest pain or discomfort. Relative importance of various diagnostic procedures are presented. In the recent years, echocardiography has reached the importance of X-ray and ECG in 24 hours per day diagnostic routine. History is the most important diagnostic tool. Physician must also try to obtain all pertinent documentation, original ECG and X ray from previous patients visits. This is especially important in the case of emergency.
