Abstract		Polytraumatized patient is admitted to ICU from Emergency department of Clinical centre. After evaluation on admittance, the treatment is continued in ICU on highest possible level. The aim is to prevent complications wich could worsen the condition of a politraumatized patient. The medical care procedures are highly demanding and intensive with seriously ill patients. The nurses have to know how to handle with the new equipment, how to use the new working methods, they have to improve their knowledge in intensive care, they have to be at patient's bed. Finally, everything is to be done to assure the highest possible quality of work.
