Abstract		Slight increase in prevalence of MS in County Fejer in Central Europe has been found during the last decades perhaps due to better instrumentiation. However in the last five years a drop in incidence was observed. The fluctuation in the incidence during the investigated period was attributed to external (infectious) precipitating factors. The prevalence of Gypsies was higher than those of the Hungarian populaton.
