Abstract		Medical record, consisting of X-rays photographs, ECS, and other diagnostic information, follow a patient through his whole life. Imaging, technology enables us to preserve the documents and have them quickly disposal, especially in emergency. The article describes different use of technology to deal with patient's documentation's, costs, implementations and its advantages. The directions of implementations of Imaging Systems in health service (DIP - Document imaging Processing and EDMS - Electronic Data Management System) and their specifics are pointed out. The detailed descriptions of the systems for automatic processing of records (x-rays photographs, CT, ECS, MRI) their input, preserving and protection has been given for use in health serice. Potential problems and possibilities of connection into existent information system are discussed. Purpose of this article is to inform medical staff about up to date technology and its advantages. By using of Imaging System we save the time while operating with documents, have easier approach to them and indirectly save lives.
