Abstract     Izhodišča: Za otroke s cerebralno paralizo so značilne zmanjšane zmožnosti grobega gibanja, vključno s stojo in hojo. Ena od sedaj že uveljavljenih metod za izboljšanje funkcij grobega gibanja pri otrocih s cerebralno paralizo je vadba avtomatizirane hoje na robotsko vodeni napravi Lokomat®. V raziskavi smo želeli analizirati učinke te vadbe pri otrocih, ki so bili vanjo vključeni v zadnjih desetih letih. Metode: Analizirali smo rezultate meritev obsegov pasivnih gibov in testov hoje otrok, ki so vadbo opravili v obdobju od novembra 2011 do novembra 2021. Rezultati: V raziskavo smo vključili 122 otrok. Z vadbo na Lokomatu se je zmanjšal delež otrok s kontrakturami v kolkih in kolenih. Izboljšali so se poplitealni koti in gibljivost v skočnih sklepih. Otroci so dosegli tudi boljše rezultate pri Časovno merjenem testu vstani in pojdi, Testu hoje na 10 metrov in 6-minutnem testu hoje. Razlike so bile statistično značilne, pri prvih dveh testih hoje tudi klinično pomembne. Zaključek: Vadba na Lokomatu je verjetno učinkovita metoda za izboljšanje obsegov pasivnih gibov v sklepih spodnjih udov in izboljšanje zmožnosti hoje, vendar je treba upoštevati, da v raziskavo nismo vključili kontrolne skupine, poleg tega pa je nekaj otrok ob vadbi na Lokomatu imelo tudi program fizioterapije.Children with cerebral palsy are characterised by impaired gross motor function, including standing and walking. One of the well-established methods for improving the functions of gross movement in children with cerebral palsy is the practice of automated walking on a robot-guided device ‐ the Lokomat. In this study, we wanted to analyse the effects of this exercise in children who have been involved in the program during the last ten years. Methods: We analysed the measurements of the range of passive movements and the results of walking tests of children who performed the exercise in the period from November 2011 to November 2021. Results: We included 122 children in the study. Exercise on the Lokomat reduced the proportion of children with hip and knee contractures, improved popliteal angles and mobility in the ankle joints. The children also achieved better results on the Timed Up and Go Test, the 10-meter Walking Test, and the 6-minute Walking Test. The differences were statistically significant; they were clinically important on the first two tests. Conclusion: Exercise on the Lokomat is probably an effective method for improving the range of passive movements in the joints of the lower limbs and improving the ability to walk, but it should be noted that we did not include a control group in the study, and some children also had a physiotherapy program while exercising on the Lokomat.
