Glavnino posegov predstavljajo operacije vratnih in ledvenih hrbtenic. Pomemben delež predstavljajo tudi operacije možganskih tumorjev in posegi v okviru nevromodulacije. Opravili smo 520 posegov, od tega 412 elektivnih in 108 nujnih. Zasledili smo sedem primerov okužb kirurških ran. V primerjavi s tujo literaturo nismo zaznali večjega odstopanja.Surgical site infections increase both patient morbidity and mortality, as well as the cost of patient care. We performed a statistical analysis of complications and infections after neurosurgical interventions at the General Hospital Celje in the Department of Neurosurgery of the Traumatology Department. Most interventions are cervical and lumbar spine operations. A significant share is also represented by brain tumor operations and neuromodulation interventions. 520 surgical procedures were performed, of which 412 were elective and 108 were urgent. We observed seven cases of surgical site infections. Compared to the literature, we did not detect any major deviation.
