Abstract		Surgical aspects of nephrectomy from the living and cadaver kidney donor and the operative techniques of kidney transplantation in the recipient are described. The most frequent urological complications are stenosis of the ureter and the urinary leak at the ureterovesical anastomosis. The incidence of stenosis of the transplant renal artery is the highest among the vascular complications. In 2% of patients with the transplantation of kidney the lymphocele is found.
Summary		V članku je opisana kirurška tehnika odvzema ledvice iz živega in mrtvega dajalca, kakor tudi njena vsaditev v prejemnika. Med najpogostejšimi urološkimi zapleti sta omenjeni stenoza sečevoda in urinska fistula. Stenoza transplantirane arterije je najpogostejša med žilnimi zapleti. Pri 2% transplantiranih bolnikov ugotovimo pomembno limfokelo.
