Abstract		Functional splints are integral part of rehabilitation process. They help to minimum and improve the range of motion where and when contractures are forming or mobilizing injured part. The patient use splints during the day and in some case also through the night. With the regular and proper use of splints, with active and pasive exercises and regular use of injured hand (for every day activities) we can shorten the rehabilitation time and reduced the imparment.
