Abstract		Application of recombinant DNA techniques led to the explosion in our knowledge of fundamental biological processes. Methods, developed by many experienced molecular biologists have revolutioized the study of human gnetic diseases. Genetic engineering enables us to produce large quantities of recombinant proteins, which are used in pharmaceutical, food, enviromental, plant, and animal biotechnology. In order to better understand the methodology of recombinant DNA technology, some basic techniques are present in this review article.
