Abstract		In this study various femoral and pelvic gemetrical parameters of adult healthy subjects were measured from standard anterior-posterior radiographs and analyzed by using descriptive statistical procedures. it was shown that female population has significantly wider pelvis and smaller femoral head radius than male population, indicating that contact stress in the hip joint articular surface may be higher in female than in male population.
