Abstract		The quality definition resulting from a group of standards ISO 9000 wit the inclusion of principles of good laboratory practices (GLP) and requirements of standard EN 45001 is described. By including these requirements and principle the state of documenting the processes and activities of the Regional Institute of Public Health of Nova Gorica is presented. The documentation structure regarding Institute strategy and policy which is obvious from clearly defined processes - course of services with a special stress on the relation "internal provider - internal consumer" is demonstrated. This relation is especially important for an effective and economic course of qualitative services which the Institute trades. Some working processes - out-patient clinic for antirabies treatment, opinion pool at the occurrence of infectious diseases, tasks from the domain of hygiene and health ecology - where the Institite has tried to obtain a better quality of services with the help of this approach - are quoted as examples.
