Abstract		Prevention is an important activity in youth dentistry. Carefully planned preventive measures can significantly lower the number of diseases in oral cavities. However a series of data about population groups is needed for reasonable planning of preventive measures. "SOVA" a software package by Vizija Celje, is used in our adental clinic for several years. By means of the "Prevention" module (part of the program) we collect information about number, sex, hygienic habits, orthodontic anomalies, fluoride preparations usage, state of gums and dental tissues and existence of dental plaques in examined children. Collected data arranged in lists by tye "Statistics" module is a basis for further planning of preventive and also curative activity in youth dentistry.
