Abstract		The approach for searching biomedical bibliographic databases is reviewed. The search usually starts with library common access catalogue (OPAC) in Central medical library, the other librarians' catalogues, such as the Nacional library of medicine book catalogue. The next step is retrievewed slovenian bibliographic database Biomedicina slovenica, followed by database MEDLINE, the larged and the most used biomedical database, and step by step all the other databases: EMBASE, Toxline, Bilogical abstacts, Science citation index to the searching current biomedical literature in the database Current contents. The use of full-text databases adn creationg the own individual bibliographic database is outlined too. The sample assess is made in nearly all menthioned databases.
