Abstract     A functional testing of dual-channel implantable stimulator in animals is described. Selectivity of peripheral motor nerve stimulation with two channels and ability to improve the functional movement of ankle was measured and evaluated in the experiments. The mechanical and functional reliability of the stimulator was tested in in-vivo environment. Results of experiments show that presented dual channel technique for selective stimulation of peripheral motor nerve should be sufficient to control the contraction of two muscles in animal or human ankle.
