Abstract     The paper deals with the combination of two types of transport of matter into tissues, i.e. by convection and by diffusion. A mathematical model is used to establish which of the two types limits the supply of matter into tissues or its removal from tissues. Practical examples of oxygen transport in lung capillaries and in tissues are presented. In the latter, the problem is solved for a rotation-symmetric tissue shape around the capillary, and the concept of critical partial pressure of oxygen in venous blood and depth of penetration is introduced. In addition, a simple graphical analysis for the establishing of critical po2 values in various clinical cases and for different tissues is presented.
Summary     V prispevku obravnavamo sklopitev dveh vrst prenosa snovi v tkivo, s konvekcijo in z difuzijo. Z matematičnim modelom analiziramo kateri od prenosov omejuje dovod snovi v tkivo ali odstranjeva iz njega. Kot praktični primer obravnavamo prenos kisika v pljučni kapilari in v tkivu. Pri slednjem rešimo problem rotacijske simetrične oblike tkiva okoli kapilare ter uvedemo koncept kritičnega delnega tlaka kisika venske krvi in penetracijsko globino. Poleg tega prikažemo preprosto grafično analizo ugotavljanja kritičnih vrednosti po2 pri različnih kliničnih primerih in za različna tkiva.
