Abstract		A method for the measurement of partial pressure of oxygen on the body surface is presented. Measurement is based on the assumption that previous heating of the skin makes the skin permeable to oxygen to such an extent that the partial pressure of oxygen on the body surface correlates well with the partial pressure of oxygen in capillaries. The principle of measuring TcPO2 is also presented and the execution of measurements in the way most frequently used in clinical practice. An attempt is also made at a critical evaluation of the applicability of this method for the assessment of various conditions and its importance in the diagnosis of microangiopathy.
Summary		Predstavljena je metoda merjenja parcialnega tlaka kisika na površini telesa. Meritev temelji na predpostavki, da s predhodnim ogrevanjem kože postane le-ta prepustna za kisik do te mere, da je tlak kisika na površini telesa soodvisen od parcialnega tlaka kisika v kapilarah. Podan je princip merjenja parcialnega tlaka kisika na površini kože in izvedba meritev na način, ki ga najpogosteje uporabljamo v klinični praksi. Sestavek tudi kriti!no ovrednoti uporabnost metode za oceno različnih bolezenskih stanj in njen pomen pri odkrivanju mikroangiopatij.
