Abstract		The promoting of healthy life-style and strengthening of protective factors which are important in overcoming the difficulties in life contribute significantly to the physical, psychological and social well-being of children and their families. Project "HEALTHY KINDERGARTEN" represents an integrated population approach to the prevention of risk factors for noncommunicable chronic diseases and some psychological disturbances in adults. The parents are closely connected to the kindergarten and are in this period of parenthood also more susceptible to messages regarding health. When a healthy life-style becomes the value and practice of the whole family our endeavours will be successful.
