Abstract		The paper deals with the computer support of community nursing. The proposed information system is based on a relational data model. The basic entities and their relations are given. The proposed solution does not only release the community nurse from the unnecessary work with numerous data but also offers the possibility for a new work content. This involves the use of a problem-solving strategy, accompanied with an in-depth analysis of data, and in general a more creative work of the community nurse.
