Abstract     The compulsory taking of the samples of body fluids from persons who resist this action are discussed from the legal and ethical viewpoints. The provisions of the Law on Crim?nal Procedure are discussed, including expert procedures (Article 266 of the Law on Criminal Procedure), issuing of orders for the compulsory taking of the samples of body fluids and the right of physicians to oppose it. The significance of the compulsory taking of samples as an example of violating the rights of people and their personal integrity is evaluated from the ethical point of view.
