Abstract		The activities of the Department of Pathological Morphology of the Maribor General Hospital also comprise the carrying out of autopsies in all cases of death related to drugs which occur in the territory of Maribor, Eastem Styria, Prekmurje and Carinthia. In this period,16 cases of death related to drugs were reported. The authors analyze the cases with regard to the cause of death, age, sex, place of death, resutts of autopsy examinations and toxicological analyses. They preseM four interesting cases in more detail.
