Abstract		The article describes new views concerning chronic gastritis at children, caused by Helicobacter pylori (HP). The latest findings show that the recuring abdominal pains at children are connected with HP positive chronic gastritis in 30 - 54%. That is why it is recommended to perform a biopsy at each indicated endoscopy at the child for rapid urease test, histology and culture. Furthermore, it is also advised to start eradication therapy in each case of HP chronic gastritis or ulcer disease.
