Abstract     The article describes our experience with the treatment Helicobacter pylori (HP) chronic gastritis at children. The treatment of two groups of children was compared with recurrent abdominal pains and histologycaly established chronic gastritis. In the first group were 30 children. All children had chronic gastritis. Nodular appearance of antral mucosa was established at 26 (86,6%) children, erosive gastritis at six, bulbitis at two and duodenal ulcer at four. In four cases the endoscopic appearence was normal. The therapy was started after receiving the result of antral biopsy. They all had HP chronic gastritis. They were treated 4 weeks with amoxicilline, tinidasole and ranitidine. Four weeks after the end of therapy simptomatic and endoscopic imrpovement was established, histological in 93,3% decrease of specific IgG anti-bodies in 80%. Eradication of HP was established at 25 (83,3%) children. Thirty children in the second group who had recurrent events of abdominal pain and histologically established chronic HP gastritis were treated two weeks with amoxicillin, tinidazole and omeprazole. At the first endoscopy 23 children (76,6%) had nodular appearance of antrum. At one child was detected bulbitis, at five erosive bulbitis but two children had duodenal ulcer. Four weeks after the end of the therapy we established simptomatic and endoscopic improvement, histological in 70% and decrease of specific IgG in 90%. Eradication of HP was established at 18 (60%) children.
