Abstract		The gravitational system for low wiscosity fluid delivery during continous flow hysteroscopy that optimises visualisation and controls fluid dynamics has been developed. 621 diagnostic and 154 operative hysteroscopic procedures have ben performed during 1995 using the automated gravitational Vario Flow system and 5% dectrose solution for uterine irrigation. One case of uterine perforation, but no general complications occured. The data on the fluid deficit and on the changes of glucose and sodium concentrations during operative hysteroscopies using Vario Flow is reported.
