| Abstract | Infection remains a leading cause of death in neutropenic patients. Due to muted inflammatory response. dinical signs are often minimal. Rapid diagnosis and institution of causal treatment is therefore often difficult. The author describes some special features of infections in neutropenic patients as well as a modern approach to diagnosis of these i?ections. | |
