| Abstract | The article presents the development of veterinary postgraduate studies in Slovenia from the first beginnings in 1959 till now. The data of study successfulness in different periods over 35 years of development are presented. Future tasks and perspectives of postgraduate education regarding the orientations of other European countries are discussed. | |
