| Abstract | The author presents in brief certain paragraphs from works that represent the top level of early Slovene veterinary science. The importance of two basic papers in cattle plague by M.A.Plen;i; and J.A.Scopoli is underlined and, in addition to this. B.Hascquet's excellent veterinary treatise on cattle poisonings is also mentioned. A unique experiment at preventive vaccination against cattle poisonings is also mentioned. A unique experiment at preventive vaccination against cattle plague on the territory of Slovenska Bistrica in 1780 is treated separately. | |
