Abstract     We have developed a electronic circuit for analog processing of neural signals and the method for selective recording activity from peripheral nerves using epineural multielectrode spiral cuff electrodes implanted around the peripheral nerve. Experiments were done in chronic dogs. This study has shown that it is possible to selectively record distinct neuroelectric signals from certain superficial region of mixed peripheral motor nerves elicited by mechanically caused contraction of corresponding muscle. Besides, the present paper describes the nerve signals response to different mechanical stimuli of the muscle.
