Abstract | A computer program in BASIC for fitting kinetic data to rate equation is presented. As a model function, the intagrated kinetic equation for a slow reversible binding of a ligand to macromolecule was chosen. The Gauss-Newton interative non-linear-regression method was used to calculate the corresponding non-linear parameters and Gaussian elimination as a method for solving n simultaneus linear equations in n unknowns. By changing the model function in the program other kinetic equations with non-linear parameters can be fitted successfully. | |
