Abstract		The authors present a Kawasaki syndrome in an adolescent, which is very rare. He failed to respond to antibiotic treatment with amoxicillin, but did respond to salicylates and antihistaminics. Thanks to the early diagnosis and the effective treatment, later complications could be avoided.
