Abstract     Vegetarian, Asian, macrobiotic, fish and mediterranean diets are particular forms of protective nutrition. These diets contain some protective substances and substances that are lowering the number of plasma lipids respectively. These substances are the number of plasma lipids respectively. These substances are vegetal albumens, ballast substances, vitamins, micro elements, some no-vitamin antioxidants, fitin acid, saponins, tripsine inhibitor, isoflavonic fitoestrogens, etc.
Summary     Vegetarijanska, azijska, makrobiotična, ribja in sredozemska dieta so posebne oblike varovalne prehrane. Te diete vsebujejo nekatere zaščitne snovi oziroma snovi, ki znižujejo plazemske lipide. Te snovi so rastlinske beljakovine, balastne snovi, vitamini, mikroelementi, nekateri nevitaminski antioksidanti, fitinska kislina, saponini, mononenasičene kisline, omega 3 maščobne kisline, tripsinski inhibitor, izoflavonski fitoestrogeni in druge.
