Abstract     Retrospectively we analyzed 1,168 GmRH-a co-treated and 3,274 HMG cycles by the number of HMG ampoules, mean E2 levels, number of oocytes retrieved and fertilized, number of embryos transfered, pregnancy rate and outcome of pregnancy in patients undergoing in vitro fertilization for tubal infertility. In tubal infertility significantly more oocytes were retrieved and fertilized (P < 0.05) in the GnRH-a group, however the pregnancy and delivery rates did not differ significantly between the two protocols (GnRH-a: 20.8% vs HMG: 19.1%).
