Abstract     The possibility of characterization and quantification of rat liver damage in vivo by NMR relaxation times was studied. The T1 (spin-lattice) and T2 (spin-spin) relaxation times were determined with a commercial MR-imager (Magnetom, 1.5 T, Siemens). The injury of rat liver was induced by carbon tetrachloride (CC14) intoxication.
Summary     Preučevali smo možnost določanja okvare jeter in vivo s pomočjo NMR relaksacijskih časov. T1 (longitudinalni) in T2 (transverzalni) relaksacijski čas smo izmerili v MR tomografu (magnetom, 1.5 T, Siemens). Okvaro podganjih jeter smo povzročili s CC14 zastrupitvijo.
