Abstract     The differences and inadequacies or reasonable doubts on the correctness of a given opinion can, according to the Law on Criminal Procedure, always be made good by a court by coordinating expert opinions or by the appointment of new experts. An example of physical injuries in a traffic accident from the practice of the Institute of Forensic Medicine is presented, where a connection between the injuries and death has undoubtedly been proven. A detailed chronological presentation of events during the injured party's treatment was objectively presented and explained despite inadequate medical documentation, although a post-mortem examination of the injured party was not carried out. In our opinion we especially referred to the medical diagnosis of death, which is an official document for medical statistics on the cause of death in domestic and international medical theory and practice.
